Come, Mr. Bigglesworth, for Mike Myers says a new Austin Powers movie is "looking good"

It’s been 16 years since Mike Myers’ Austin Powers enthusiastically asked if he makes us horny, so our answer should be an emphatic “yes!” when the character returns. And return he will; in a new interview on the red carpet at the Bohemian Rhapsody premiere, Myers declared that another outing for the out-of-time spy from he and franchise director Jay Roach was “looking good.”

“They take a long time to write, they always have,” he said, quite cagily. “Jay’s been super crazy. He is doing a fantastic movie right now that he’s working on right now. It’s looking good, so we’ll see.”

Earlier this year, Myers said he’d be interested in doing a film from the perspective of Austin’s nemesis, the chrome-domed Dr. Evil. Myers also teases on the red carpet that “you’re gonna see Dr. Evil soon somewhere in the culture,” which probably just means he’ll appear on late night soon to make Jimmy Fallon titter, as he already has in the past.

Roach is currently at work on a Roger Ailes movie with an all-star cast, so fans of Austin’s furry patch of chest hair and dick-based tomfoolery will have to be patient.
