Having temporarily exhausted its store of Nerdist-related properties, Comedy Central is turning to Twitter for its next project: a pilot based on the popular @DadBoner feed, chronicling the fictional adventures of Midwestern Renaissance man Karl Welzein and his love of cheeseburgers piled high, gettin’ blitzed on domestic brews, and Bob Seger jams. While some would say that @DadBoner already has a show, and it’s called Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, this series differs in that it will star an actual cartoon.
