Corin Tucker and Peter Buck’s Filthy Friends share tour dates and new video
The debut album from Filthy Friends, which features Sleater-Kinney’s Corin Tucker and R.E.M.’s Peter Buck, is set to be released at the end of this month, so the band has shared a new video and a new batch of tour dates to make that wait go a little quicker. The video is for “Despierta,” which was Filthy Friends’ entry in the 30 Songs For 30 Days anti-Trump project, and while the video isn’t much of an anti-Trump protest on its own, it does feature a number of people running through the woods in hopes of catching a hot Filthy Friends performance. The aforementioned debut album, Invitation, will be available on August 25.
