Courtney Love teases fans with new (or possibly old) Hole
Musician, muse, and turtle resting place Courtney Love has once again been hinting that she might reunite with Hole, the immensely successful ’90s rock band responsible for most of her non-Kurt Cobain-related fame. Not that that’s necessarily a revolutionary idea: Love made (and then dismissed) similar claims back in 2014, four years after briefly reforming the group with an entirely new line-up. Nevertheless, the singer and guitarist hopped on Instagram yesterday to post a picture of herself with classic Hole drummer Patty Schemel and bassist Mellisa Auf Der Maur, captioning the photo, “with the girls, serving up a Hole lot of something. maybe 💖😄,” which suggests either a potential reunion, or that Love’s heart is covered in glitter, and she feels pretty good about it.
