Create shockingly successful erotica with the Fifty Shades text generator
As the world waits with bated breath for the release of the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades Of Grey, one MIT engineer and developer advocate at Google has created an impressively robust program for people to create their own middling and poorly written erotica. The program is so successful at copying author E.L. James’ style that it bears repeating that these are not excerpts from the books but instead randomly arranged sentences using a Dada Engine.
The creator, Lisa Wray, set out to show that the books’ prose was so awful that a computer program could easily simulate the same style. The Fifty Shades Text Generator proves just that with such entries as:
Moving suddenly, he pushes me against the wall. He’s pinning me to the wall using his hips, and my breathing is too loud. Forceful, his eyes wild, his skilled tongue invades my mouth. My pulse is haywire.
Leaning down, he kisses me, dominating, making my muscles clench deep, deep inside. He plants a soft kiss on my lips, insistent, warmth pooling below my waist, feeling spiraling out from deep within my belly. His tongue invades my mouth, and dark desire unfolds throughout my body. He kisses me, dominating, my insides liquefying, sparking electricity … below. He grabs my hair and yanks down, pulling my head back. My inner goddess swoons and passes out somewhere in the back of my head.
