By now, it’s common knowledge that Daft Punk is not actually composed of intergalactic robot DJs, but two French guys named Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. But that doesn’t mean they’re easy to track down. In fact, the group has not performed live since 2014, when they appeared alongside Pharrell, Stevie Wonder, and Nile Rodgers performing their song “Get Lucky” at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.
And apparently they enjoyed themselves: Pitchfork reports that this year, Daft Punk will once again appear on the Grammys stage, this time with The Weeknd. Daft Punk contributed two songs to The Weeknd’s latest album Starboy, but due to eligibility deadlines, the album—and therefore Daft Punk—isn’t nominated for any awards. The Weeknd is up for a Grammy for his contribution to Beyonce’s Lemonade, however.
The mothership takes off on February 12, at a ceremony broadcast live from Los Angeles’ Staples Center at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
