Emilia Clarke says she won’t play Sarah Connor in another Terminator movie
As if there weren’t enough signs already that the Terminator series is in trouble, Terminator Genisys star Emilia Clarke recently said that she won’t be returning to the role of Sarah Connor.
Although Genisys was the first in a planned trilogy of new Terminator films, it was rejected by critics and somewhat ignored by American audiences upon release, making less than $100 million at the domestic box office. As a result, Paramount pulled the first Genisys sequel from its May 2017 release slot and replaced it with the Baywatch movie, settling once and for all that The Rock can definitely win in a fight against Arnold Schwarzenegger—at least one solely involving tired franchises desperate to stay relevant.
