Even Felicity Jones’ contract is full of Rogue One spoilers
(Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has now been in theaters for nearly a full 24 hours, which means that at least some of you reading this have already seen it. If not, be forewarned that this Newswire gives away the ending of the film. Thanks.)
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is being billed as a sort of intergalactic Dirty Dozen, but there’s one real star of the ensemble, and that’s Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso. And she’s being paid accordingly, following the lead of Shameless star Emmy Rossum in demanding a higher rate that of her male co-stars. The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Jones was paid a seven-figure salary for the film, and co-stars like Diego Luna and Ben Mendelsohn were paid ”significantly less, not cracking mid-six figures.” (Their faces are smaller on the poster, to be fair.)
