Last month, Cloud Nothings announced its fifth full-length, Life Without Sound, will be coming January 27, 2017. Along with that announcement the band released “Modern Act,” the album’s first single, and today The A.V. Club is premiering the song’s video along with a bevy of tour dates. The video sees the band covered in makeup, taking on elderly versions that are followed around menacingly by a makeshift grim reaper. After the hoodie-wearing angel of death picks them off one-by-one, the band is reunited in the afterlife, jamming out on a sandy beach in the afterlife.
