Face To Face returns to its roots with “Double Crossed”
Having bounced from label to label throughout its career, Face To Face has returned to Fat Wreck Chords, the label that helped the band’s debut album, Don’t Turn Away, become a part of the pop-punk canon. On March 4 Fat Wreck will release Protection, the third album since Face To Face‘s reunion in 2008. Along with its return to Fat, Protection marks a sonic return as well, with the songs fitting right in with the band’s most beloved works. The A.V. Club is premiering “Double Crossed” below, which shows that vocalist Trever Keith’s voice hasn’t aged a day, and the band’s knack for crafting pop songs with a punk edge hasn’t either.
Pre-orders for Protection are available now through Fat Wreck Chords.
