All of Hollywood’s least-dependent lights are shining today, as Film Independent prepares to unleash its annual Spirit Awards, celebrating all the best in movies that are at least slightly more independent than other movies. The event proper—hosted this year by Hasan Minhaj—kicks off properly at 5 p.m. Eastern, but the blue carpet arrivals (none of that gaudy, eye-searing red carpet stuff here) have already begun. We’ll be updating this slideshow throughout the afternoon, showcasing all the niftiest looks and keenest fits on display at the Spirit Awards today.
