Frank Ocean announces his new album

Pitchfork reports that Ocean has been working with Hit-Boy, Rodney Jerkins, and Kevin Risto on a new album over the past year. Ocean’s previous release, Channel Orange, featured the breakout hit “Forrest Gump”; his new album will probably include songs about Austin Powers, Borat, and Ron Burgundy.

In the period since Channel Orange’s release, Ocean has appeared on Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail, John Mayer’s Paradise Valley, and even performed a song called “Hero” with Diplo and The Clash’s Mick Jones and Paul Simonon.

We assume that Frank Ocean learned his lesson from his highly publicized feud with Chris Brown and learned to pick his battles more wisely, stealing the title Boys Don’t Cry from elder goth Robert Smith, who Ocean could probably take in a fight.
