FX issues statement on future of Tracy Morgan’s show
Amid all the inaccurate speculation online—no, Tracy Morgan will not lose his leg—and ample opportunity for Tucker Carlson to be wrong some more, the traffic accident that left Morgan and several others gravely injured (and killed comedian Jimmy Mack) has spawned one actual, albeit relatively unimportant question: What will happen to Morgan’s FXX show, due to begin production in August? The network has issued an official statement on the matter, saying that the series, from the creators of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, will be put on hold while Morgan undergoes what’s been described as an “arduous” recovery.
