Gamora putting on lipstick is now a weirdly versatile meme

[Spoilers for Avengers: Endgame below.]

The actors involved with Avengers: Endgame have more or less thrown out the whole “don’t spoil” warning now that opening weekend has come and gone. They’ve been posting a ton of behind-the-scenes pictures and videos, including a really “illegal” one from Chris Pratt and a women of Marvel lunch photos from Robert Downey Jr. And Zoe Saldana has been doing her fair share of content too, including a lipstick video so commonplace it has quickly been co-opted by Twitter’s meme contingent.

Her video has emotion and attitude in the way she puts the green shade on, and it really embodies not only Gamora in this moment, but Saldana herself. It’s so full of confidence and color that it makes an ideal “getting ready” meme for all things, well, green. To start off, there’s of course one with a Guardians of The Galaxy reference—Star-Lord won’t even know what hit him.

Then you have the green food category. Apparently there’s a lot of pickle hate out there? Hey, to each their own. There’s also a poke at the fact that romaine lettuce is never in season anymore.

Then, everyone’s other favorite green being, The Wicked Witch of The West, makes an appearance, as does Lea Michele, who seems more than happy to have been roped into the tomfoolery.

Saldana also posted a few fun videos of her on set, offering yet another glimpse into what could very well become the biggest film of all time. Even if it doesn’t break all the records, though, the memes will most certainly keep coming. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
