Gwen Stefani is making a cartoon that looks like a Harajuku take on Bratz

Introducing Endless Mode: A New Games & Anime Site from Paste
The Barbie brand effectively dominates the doll market, but in the early 2000s, the Bratz line took the world by storm and put a significant dent in Barbie’s profits. Thanks to their fashion-forward style and weirdly off-putting design, the dolls offered kids a hipper alternative to Mattel’s career-minded competitor. Sadly, the Bratz brand has been in decline for several years, but a new Nickelodeon cartoon just might revive the public’s interest in the whole “big head and tall, skinny body” aesthetic.
