Better cancel date night because The Hand That Rocks The Cradle remake has a trailer

Finding a babysitter can be murder, and The Hand That Rocks The Cradle is back to scare young parents out of another date night.

The cradle now rocks on streaming as this remake of the classic murderous nanny movie heads to Hulu this October. Based on Curtis Hanson’s 1992 original, the remake follows young mother Caitlin Morales (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) as she welcomes a new nanny, Polly Murphy (Maika Monroe), into her family. Polly came with impeccable references that, nevertheless, neglected to mention her penchant for self-mutilation and maternal manipulation. At least we can take solace in the fact that the nanny isn’t an AI.

The Hand That Rocks The Cradle hits Hulu on October 22.
