HBO picks up Bill Hader’s lonely hit man comedy
It probably doesn’t mean anything, but Saturday Night Live alums sure do seem interested in assassins lately. Taran Killam is making a movie about eccentric killers teaming up to take on one of their own, and now HBO has picked up a comedy starring Bill Hader as a lonely hit man who moves to Los Angeles. The show is called Barry, and Hader directed and co-wrote the pilot with Silicon Valley’s Alec Berg. Obviously, this doesn’t mean that SNL is secretly training its cast members to be assassins, but it also doesn’t necessarily not mean that.
