Hellboy reboot in the works with David Harbour and director Neil Marshall
We might actually be getting a third Hellboy movie, but in a twisted devil’s bargain that seems appropriate for this series, the news comes with a big caveat. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Millennium is currently negotiating with producers Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin about rebooting the Hellboy series, but the studio will be doing it without original series director Guillermo Del Toro or star Ron Perlman. Instead, Game Of Thrones and The Descent director Neil Marshall will direct, with Stranger Things’ David Harbour in talks to play the eponymous demon. The project is tentatively called Hellboy: Rise Of The Blood Queen, and the script comes from Andrew Crosby, Christopher Golden, and Hellboy creator Mik Mignola.
