Here’s what’s coming to (and going from) HBO Now in February
Though we’ve all been having some fun with HBO’s The Young Pope this month, the premium cable network’s real big stuff is going to start kicking in next month. February will see the season premieres of Last Week Tonight and the final season of Girls, as well as the series premieres of Pete Holmes’ Crashing and the limited series Big Little Lies. You’ll also be able to watch Eagles Of Death Metal: Nos Amis, which will tell the band’s story before and after the 2015 terrorist attack at its concert in Paris, as well as Tickled, the haunting documentary about the unexpected horrors of the “competitive tickling” scene.
The non-original movie premieres aren’t quite as exciting, with the highlight probably being the mildly disappointing Crimson Peak, the reasonably disappointing Legend Of Tarzan, or the legitimately disappointing Sinister 2. Also, February will be your last chance to stream 300, In The Heart Of The Sea, Home Alone, and Jem And The Holograms (at least on HBO), so you should watch those while you can—assuming you want to.
