Here’s what’s coming to (and leaving from) HBO in February
February might be the shortest month of the year, but that doesn’t mean HBO’s skimping on the new additions to its HBO Now service. Aside from extended versions or director’s cuts of the Alien films—including AVP: Alien Vs. Predator, for peak extraterrestrial efficiency—Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman strides onto the digital landscape on February 10, with Rebecca Cammisa’s Atomic Homefront documentary joining the apocalypse features discussion on February 12.
HBO will also debut a couple of new series next month, including Phoebe Robinson and Jessica Williams’ run of hourlong specials, 2 Dope Queens, and Alan Ball’s Here And Now, which stars Tim Robbins and Helen Hunt. You can also look forward to more lively (read: infuriating) investigative pieces when the fifth season of Last Week Tonight With John Oliver premieres February 19.
Despite the shortened date range, HBO will still be sending off some films by month’s end. Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice is leaving HBO Now on February 24, and the two Sister Act movies will follow suit on February 28, along with dozens more films. The complete list of arrivals and departures is below, with original programming denoted by an asterisk.
