You’ll probably be too busy streaming Good Omens, which hits Amazon on May 31, to care much about what’s coming to the streamer in June, but we’d be remiss not to point you towards Chasing Happiness, the definitive chronicle of the newly reunited Jonas Brothers. The documentary is said to go “beyond the headlines and behind the scenes,” which, cool, but we’ll be there for the Sophie Turner content.
New seasons of Amazon originals Absentia and Creative Galaxy will also arrive this month, as will Idris Elba’s feature directorial debut, Yardie. A complex revenge tale, the film follows a Jamaican man to London, where he reconnects with his childhood sweetheart and the man who shot his brother 10 years previous.
Recent releases include last year’s Juliet, Naked and The Spy Who Dumped Me, neither of which we were nuts about. That’s okay, though, because there’s plenty of nostalgic content, from the first five Rocky flicks to the first and third installments of both Rush Hour and Species (the second ones sucked anyway).
