Iggy Pop recruits all his punk icon buddies for a new docuseries about the genre's history
Adding yet another project to his already packed schedule of performing, teaming up for Christmas tunes with William Shatner, and never, ever wearing a shirt, punk rock legend Iggy Pop has announced that he’s putting together a new TV docuseries about the genre he’s spent so much of his life bare-chestedly exploring. Per NME, Pop is currently working on a four-part series called Punk, which will feature interviews with a number of his old friends, chatting about the heights of their careers and reminding us all, tacitly, that we, too, must some day age from young rebels fighting to tear down the system, into much older rebels, doing talking head interviews about the nostalgic tearings-down of our youths.
