The A.V. Club is no stranger to Pet Collective’s cultural reinterpretations; from Orange Is The New Black to Macklemore’s Thrift Shop, we’ve laughed, cried, and developed contact dermatitis from this troupe of suspiciously well-trained animal actors. Now the Collective has set its sights on Gone Girl. The results are fluffy, eerie, and slightly demonic—just like most cats. Fans of both the book and the movie won’t be disappointed in the Gone Purrl adaptation, though the Collective’s choice of Barbie sidekick does leave a little something to be desired.
