According to the Houston Chronicle, SAPD officers were dispatched to a shooting in progress on Sunday evening. When they arrived, they found Joss near the road outside his home with multiple gunshot wounds. Though life-saving measures were attempted, Joss was pronounced dead at the scene. Shortly after, a suspect was identified and arrested near the scene. The suspect was transported to police headquarters for further investigation and booked on suspicion of murder. TMZ reported that Joss “got into a heated argument with his neighbor” which resulted in gun violence.

He began his screen career in the early ’90s with small roles in film and on television in shows like Walker, Texas Ranger. In 1998, he joined the cast of King Of The Hill as John Redcorn after the original voice actor, Victor Aaron, died in a car accident. Joss would go on to play the role from seasons two through 13.
