Kanye West won't do time or pay any fines for fighting a paparazzo

Kanye West won’t do any jail time for that July scuffle with a paparazzo. Instead, the rapper has been sentenced to stay 10 feet away from Daniel Ramos, the “filmmaker” he fought, something that West should have no problem with so long as Ramos doesn’t frequent Paris Fashion Week. The Los Angeles judge doing the sentencing also recommended that Ramos keep his distance from West and advised both parties to refrain from resorting to violence.

The city’s prosecutors reportedly asked that West be required to attend anger management classes, but the judge rejected that request. West still faces a civil suit from Ramos, who alleges the rapper interfered with his right to free speech.
