Kill Bill 3 rumors awaken suddenly, begin preparing death list

Now that we can safely assume that rumored, Britney Spears-starring Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! remake has driven off into the desert never to be seen again, the possibility of another chapter in the Kill Bill saga is probably the most enduring of many rumors about what director Quentin Tarantino will do next. And, like a preternaturally gifted assassin with a blood grudge, that rumor is back with a vengeance thanks to a new interview with Tarantino conducted by Ben Mankiewicz for What The Flick?!
Ever eager to play the man behind the curtain, Tarantino says that Kill Bill: Volume 3 is “a possibility — [I’ll] stop short of saying a probability,” not only because he (obviously, because he’s done it several times now) enjoys working with Uma Thurman, but also because he wants to re-immerse himself in the world of the film. He calls Kill Bill “probably my most visionary movie” in that it creates a whole alternate universe, “where they actually have samurai sword holders on airplanes where the cup holder would be and that’s all good and everyone accepts it.” Which is pretty cool.
