The 2015 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductees may have been announced this morning, but anyone who’s anyone knows the only awards that matter in the music business are those coveted Grammy Hall Of Fame slots. This year, 27 different records ranging from Kraftwerk’s Autobahn to not one, but two versions of “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot” have been tapped for inclusion in an interactive exhibit at the Grammy Museum in downtown L.A. Inductees will also be featured in a commemorative book, not that anyone will ever read that.
A full list of all the inductees is below. To be eligible, recordings have to be at least 25 years old and “exhibit qualitative or historical importance.” Hence the Alice Cooper nod.
