Larry King really is launching a stand-up tour
Never one for mere idle talk, obviously, Larry King has confirmed a series of dates for “Larry King: Standing Up,” an autobiographical one-man show in which the recently retired CNN host will spend 45 minutes struggling to get out of a Barcalounger. Ha ha! No, really, it’s a comedic look at King’s “life growing up as a street-smart kid in Brooklyn,” where he narrowly avoided scrapes with neighborhood toughs by distracting them with simplistic questions, and will also cover his many years as a broadcast journalist, ending with a Q&A in which King will submit himself to being grilled by an audience that demands he release the missing 51 minutes of The Judds tapes. Where are the Judd Tapes, Larry??!
