Sure, being a model in the ’80s may seem like a grueling and demanding job. But thanks to the glut of VHS tapes out there instructing people, it couldn’t be simpler to land a gig. The gang at Found Footage Festival has combed through hours of tape to find the most important tips, insightful interviews, and horribly awkward posing so anyone can learn to be a model (in the ’80s).

This montage teaches the importance of sounding out certain words to achieve a specific facial pose, how to use props, and just how creepy photographers and others in the industry can be (especially that denim guy). It’s a one stop school to learn all the important tips and tricks for those looking to pursue their dreams of becoming a model (in the ’80s).
