Liam Gallagher's sort-of-post-Oasis project Beady Eye announces U.S. debut date
American fans curious to hear what a Noel Gallagher-free Oasis album sounds like will find out on March 1, when Dangerbird Records releases the debut of Beady Eye, with the winking title Different Gear, Still Speeding. Fronted by Liam Gallagher and featuring former Oasis members Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and Chris Sharrock, Beady Eye is nevertheless billed as a “fresh new act,” despite the fact that the personnel is so completely the same, for many months the band considered simply carrying on the Oasis name.
