Listen to She And Him's absolutely darling new single, "Never Wanted Your Love"

Attention She And Him fans: She And Him’s new single is out and it’s pretty She And Him-ish. “Never Wanted Your Love” kicks off with some Partridge Family harmonies, but ultimately becomes more lush and more vintage, a sort of ‘50s-style take on love and loss, complete with strings. There's no official video let, but let us be the first (or the 9000th) to suggest that this song would go just great with a dance number featuring frontwoman Zooey Deschanel and pal Joseph Gordon-Levitt. That sounds like something we'd like to see.

The band’s new record, Volume 3, is out May 7 on Merge, and the band is touring this summer. A full list of dates is below.
