Magic Mike XXL adds three cast members, is just taking people off the street now

In a desperate attempt to fill the Matthew McConaughey-shaped hole in fans’ hearts, the producers of Magic Mike XXL have added three more names to what was already a long and eclectic cast list. First it was announced that former football star and Live With Kelly And Michael co-host Michael Strahan would bring his gap-toothed charm to the film; Strahan’s been angling for the part for quite a while, going so far as to rip off his pants on live TV to impress star Channing Tatum.

Now The Wrap reports that Elizabeth Banks and Donald Glover have both been added to the film in unknown roles, risking the chance of Glover quitting to focus on his rap career halfway through. The list of potential Magic Mike XXL cast members still yet to be announced includes Seth Green, Judge Reinhold, Louis Gossett Jr., the offensive line of the Miami Dolphins, and Channing Tatum’s personal trainer.
