Marc Summers is not happy about being part of Investigation Discovery’s recent “here’s all the bad stuff that happened behind the scenes of the Nickelodeon shows you grew up on” docuseries Quiet On Set. Summers is one of the first people you see in the doc, talking positively and genuinely about his time on the network, where his game show Double Dare was an early hit. (And which, to be clear, isn’t touched on by the rest of the series, which concerns events that happened well after Summers had moved on from the network.) But, Summers says, he wasn’t told what kind of project Quiet On Set was going in—and says he was “ambushed” by producers who later took back promises not to include him in the series after he shut down his interview.
