If you wanted to watch Francis Ford Coppola’s self-funded epic Megalopolis right now, one of the only places you could legally do it is on an American Airlines flight. (Seriously.) Coppola has been obstinate in his desire to keep the film off streaming platforms and physical media, telling GQ last month that he doesn’t “want anyone to own it.” But while you likely won’t be able to watch Adam Driver stop time in your living room for a while (if ever), Coppola is offering a new way to experience the film right here on the ground.

If you were expecting a standard theatrical re-release à la Sinners or Interstellar, remember this is Coppola—the guy who put a scene featuring a live, in-theater actor in his movie—we’re talking about. Instead, the director is taking the film on the road. Megalopolis is officially going on a Live Nation-sponsored tour, Deadline reports. Look out, Beyoncé!

“This is the way Megalopolis was meant to be seen, in a large venue, with a crowd and followed by intense interactive discussions about the future,” Coppola shared in a statement. The director will moderate these conversations, fittingly titled “How to Change Our Future,” himself.

The Megalopolis tour will hit six cities: Red Bank, NJ (July 20), Port Chester, NY (July 23), Chicago, IL (July 25), Denver, CO (July 27), Dallas, TX (July 29), and San Francisco, CA (August 1). Tickets are currently available on Ticketmaster. If you want the full Megalopolis experience, you can watch it once on the flight to your destination and again in the theater “exactly as Coppola intended,” per the event’s billing. Just make sure you budget at least 138 minutes in the air.
