As the political left continues its election post-mortems about how they don’t have any powerful voices in the podcast world, the right continues to expand its dominance over the podcast industrial complex. On Tuesday, it was announced that Megyn Kelly, formerly of Fox News and NBC News and current podcast host, will launch her own podcast network called “MK Media,” per The Hollywood Reporter. And so yet more podcasts enter the already overstuffed creator ecosystem.

According to THR, MK Media will be “a video and audio podcast network that will work with creators and journalists in the news and entertainment space.” Groundbreaking stuff. Kelly has already made her first hires, commissioning shows from Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan, influencer/former Robert F. Kennedy Jr. aide Link Lauren, and journalist Mark Halperin, who was fired from NBC News after more than a dozen sexual assault and/or harassment allegations came out against him. (Kelly has famously spoken out about her own experience of sexual harassment at the hands of ex-Fox News boss Roger Ailes. But hey, she’s a big supporter of alleged sexual assaulter Donald Trump as well, so this is not the place to look for consistency.)

Kelly has apparently promised to announce more talent soon and threatened to branch into other genres beyond news and entertainment. “I’m thrilled to launch MK Media and to use our platform to help sane, reasonable, good-humored people build their own followings in this new media space,” says Kelly. “I am a huge fan of Mark’s, Maureen’s and Link’s and I know our audience will be as excited as I am to hear more from them.” Haven’t we heard enough already?
