Tom Hardy front and center for MobLand season three announcement

Rumors that Hardy had been fired from the crime series after filming wrapped for its reportedly tense second season were premature and false. A production source told Variety in May that “things are being worked through creatively” among Hardy, co-creator Jez Butterworth, and producer David Glasser, whose reported falling out was the catalyst for MobLand‘s internal rancor. With this announcement, it seems some kind of accord has been struck, which is essential for any semi-functioning crime family. If nothing else, it’s nice to see the Harrigans playing nice with Mr. Da Souza once again.

The season two premiere of MobLand hits Paramount+ on September 18, with weekly episodes to follow.
