Morrissey announces another U.S. tour he’ll probably just cancel

Morrissey has announced another run of dates he’ll probably just cancel, thus testing the fortitude of his fans’ love for him. The singer’s tour (theoretically) kicks off June 11 in New Orleans, ending July 25 in San Jose, California. Guests for the dates include the equally polarizing Amanda Palmer, who’ll pop in at Madison Square Garden, and Blondie, who’ll open that aforementioned San Jose show. An opener for the other dates hasn’t been confirmed, but it’s a fair guess that it probably won’t be former Morrissey pal Kristeen Young, who the ex-Smiths frontman blamed for the cancellation of his last run of U.S. dates.
