Mortal Kombat 11 might have the best tutorial of any fighting game I’ve ever played, but it doesn’t tell you everything about the game. For instance: you’ve pretty much got to figure out the Fatalities on your own. And since the Fatality is the main calling card for the entire Mortal Kombat series, you’ll probably want to learn those combos as soon as possible. Is it really a Mortal Kombat, after all, if you aren’t graphically dismembering your friends and rivals in cartoonishly grotesque fashion?
That’s where Paste comes in. Here’s a complete, easy to parse list of every Fatality in Mortal Kombat 11, with two apiece for all 25 fighters. Keep this page bookmarked on your phone (or print it out if you’re in 1996) and consult as needed while you’re brawling your way through the Netherrealm.
There are a few basics you have to keep in mind, of course. You can only do a Fatality in the last round of a fight. Right before you KO your opponent for the second time, they’ll stand in a daze as the iconic words “Finish Him” appear on the screen. At that point you can enter the code for a Fatality. Make sure you don’t take too much time—you only have a few seconds—and make sure you’re also positioned properly for the move. We’ve included the appropriate distance for each Fatality below, either close, mid or far.
Also, since the game is on multiple consoles, the final input of every Fatality combo depends on your controller. It’ll always be either a Front Punch, Back Punch, Front Kick or Back Kick, but the specific buttons for those moves depend on your console. Here’s a guide to all possible buttons.
Front Punch: Square on PS4, X on Xbox, Y on Switch Back Punch: Triangle on PS4, Y on Xbox, X on Switch Front Kick: X on PS4, A on Xbox, B on Switch Back Kick: Circle on PS4, B on Xbox, A on Switch
Keep that in mind while you’re trying to chop a fighter’s body into pieces in comical fashion.
For your character of choice, search for their name, and the magic of computers will whisk you straight to their entry. And be careful with these—if you have a weak stomach, well, you shouldn’t be playing Mortal Kombat in the first place, but you definitely shouldn’t be in a rush to use Fatalities.
