Mr. Robot, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and The Americans are up for TCA Awards
Emmys take note: The Television Critics Association today announced the nominations for its annual awards, throwing accolades in the direction of deserving shows like Mr. Robot and American Crime Story: The People Vs. O.J. Simpson. Both received four nods apiece, and are vying for Program Of The Year. American Crime Story actors Sarah Paulson and Courtney B. Vance were also recognized for Individual Achievement in Drama alongside Mr. Robot’s Rami Malek.
TCA continued to do right by The Americans, which won the top Outstanding Achievement In Drama prize last year, handing the FX series three nominations, including one for Keri Russell. Over in the realm of comedy, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Master Of None got nods for their creator-stars Rachel Bloom and Aziz Ansari, respectively. Fargo’s second season is nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Movies, Miniseries, and Specials, while the newest late-night arrival, Full Frontal With Samantha Bee, is up for Outstanding Achievement in News and Information.
