NBC’s got a new show from the author of True Blood
NBC is adapting a new book series from True Blood author Charlaine Harris, traveling far outside her blood-soaked HBO wheelhouse to focus on a small Southern town populated by sexy supernatural creatures. (Fans worried that Harris is repeating herself should rest assured that these sex monsters live in Texas, not Louisiana.) Harris’ Midnight, Texas series currently spans two books with a third on the way next year, and will serve as the basis for a new show the author is executive producing alongside Lost’s Monica Owusu-Breen.
