New Fox show to put a "modern-day spin" on Bonnie and Clyde, for modern-day people in the modern day

Putting a modern-day spin on recent "modern-day spin" shows, Fox is developing a "modern-day spin" on Bonnie And Clyde for the modern day that is today, rather than for the old, antiquated days when things were simply told straightforwardly, before the advancement of spins. Unlike recent, laughable attempts to put a "modern-day" spin on the story of Depression-era bank robbers Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow by merely putting modern-day people like Miley Cyrus or Hilary Duff in them, Fox's Bonnie and Clyde drama will concern two "sexy, young lovers" (as "sexy" and "young" people appeal to modern-day audiences) who leave their poor East Texas families behind to start a life of crime, inspiring a manhunt and widespread cult worship, with the spin being that it's set in the modern day. It will feature things recognizable to modern-day people, such as modern-day cars, modern-day hairstyles, modern-day house pets, modern-day snack foods, modern-day attitudes toward the government, and modern-day gramophones. Ha! Got you! Gramophones are not modern-day! Put that back in your other, non-modern-day Bonnie and Clyde project!
