The new trailer for Snatched, the Amy Schumer-Goldie Hawn comedy of errors in judgment, could never been confused for a tourism ad for South America, which is treated as a country and not a continent. After Schumer gets dumped, she drags her mom to some part of the southern hemisphere, where the only people they interact with are other white people, including a hot Australian dude and Joan Cusack. Come to think of it, that sounds like a typical vacation.
From the looks of it, the kidnapping will be dispensed with right away, leaving Schumer’s character to prove something to her mom, who is a former hippie turned uptight sculptor. Come to think of it, that… doesn’t sound like anyone’s vacation.
