Nic Pizzolatto deepens the mystery with clues about #TrueDetectiveSeason2

True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto has revealed a few new details about the show’s second season, forming a trail of cryptic clues single-minded fans can obsessively follow at the expense of their relationships, careers, personal hygiene, and overall mental health. Pizzolatto appeared on Wisconsin Public Radio’s To The Best Of Our Knowledge Sunday for an interview full of such Cohle-isms as “in True Detective, the world itself is the crime.” In between dropping metaphysical truth bombs, Pizzolatto takes a moment to talk #TrueDetectiveSeason2; he claims that casting hasn’t started yet, leaving that topic wide open for speculation (although Jessica Chastain can be crossed off the list).
