Say what you like about 2018: The planet’s on fire, and the politics are garbage, but at least science is finding ever new ways for Jimmy Fallon to insert his voice into our homes. Per Mashable, the human beige paint sample/Tonight Show host is teaming up with Amazon’s digital assistant Alexa this week, providing some of his signature comedy whenever users ask their personal all-seeing eye for “a joke.”
Said verbal hair-tousle is just the latest integration between Alexa and the famous set, which has previously included the option to have Gordon Ramsey tell you your food’s “A fucking disgrace. Just shameful,” and the chance to have John Legend calmly read you the day’s weather. Maybe John Legend could tell us a joke, too, Amazon? At least we can pretty sure he could get through the entire setup line without breaking into digital giggles.
