There’s no word yet on what character she’ll be playing, but based on the video posted on the show’s social media platforms, she might as well be playing a long-lost sister to Meryl Streep’s Loretta—they’re dressed fairly alike in this clip! Of course, the two Oscar-winning actors have previously co-starred together in 2011’s The Iron Lady.
In season six, OMITB‘s sleuthing trio of Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), and Charles Haden-Savage (Steve Martin) will fly across the pond to London to solve the mystery behind Cinda Canning’s (Tina Fey) death. Cindy may have died just inside the Arconia, but prior to this, she was looking into a case in the U.K. that she effectively hands over to Mabel, Oliver, and Charles.
During their own investigation, they’re about to cross paths not just with Colman, but also a massive lineup of U.K. stars: Peter Capaldi, Nicola Coughlan, Simone Ashley, Martin Freeman, Sharon Horgan, Anjana Vasan, Jamie Demetriou, Jane Horrocks, Lesley Nicol, Derek Jacobi, Jodie Whittaker, David Tennant, Richard Ayoade, Kathryn Hunter, Jennifer Saunders, Sean Teale, Amar Chadha-Patel, Rhea Norwood, Matthew Beard, and Geri Halliwell-Horner. And let’s not forget that OMITB will also bring back Streep, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Michael Cyril Creighton as well.
