People Still Buy Music: Anybody who didn't already have 21 is now buying it

For the 14th non-consecutive week, Adele's 21 tops the Billboard albums chart. Last year's most successful album has spent the most weeks at No. 1 since the Titanic soundtrack in 1998, and trails only Whitney Houston's soundtrack to The Bodyguard and Carole King's Tapestry for the most weeks in the top spot for an album made by a woman. Adele assumed the top spot after Michael Buble's Christmas took a post-holiday tumble from  No. 1 to No. 24 (though it still sold 21,000 copies, which seems sort of incredible).

Every album in the Top 25 sold less than the week before, which allowed Drake's Take Care to move from No. 5 to No. 2 with 72,000. Also, LMFAO's Sorry For Party Rocking arrived in the Top 10 for the first time, shooting up to No. 5 from No. 16 on the strength of the group's second No. 1 single, "Sexy And I Know It," and a special iTunes discount. The rest of the Top 10 includes: Young Jeezy's TM 103: Hustlerz Ambition (No. 3, 67,000), Lady Antebellum's Own The Night (No. 4, 54,000), Florence + The Machine's Ceremonials (No. 6, 47,000), The Black Keys' El Camino (No. 7, 45,000), Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto (No. 8, 44,000), Rihanna's Talk That Talk (No. 9, 42,000), and Now 40 (No. 10, 41,000).
