Prince’s videos are finally back on YouTube

Not long before his death, Prince decided to pull nearly all of his music videos and concert footage from YouTube, arguing that the site’s licensing fees are unfair and that it was in his best interests to control his own music. Now, since Prince is dead, Noisey is reporting that his YouTube ban has been lifted, and even though he probably wouldn’t have been happy about this, nobody can stop you from watching the music videos for “Let’s Go Crazy” or “When Doves Cry.”

A seemingly official account (in the sense that it’s named “Prince”) has also uploaded a pair of live videos, both of which you can watch without anyone getting angry. Granted, Prince’s ghost probably won’t be happy, but you can’t live your life by constantly looking over your shoulder for Prince’s ghost.
