The New York Times is reporting that author David Foster Wallace has been found dead in his home of an apparent suicide. Wallace was 46.
Wallace earned great acclaim and attention for his 1996 novel Infinite Jest. Other works include his debut novel, The Broom Of The System, and several short story and essay collections. His playful, digressive, hyperintelligent writing style helped make him one of the most influential writers of his generation.
