Radiohead in at #1, tease U.S. tour
Even though they gave it away for free, apparently the people still wanted to buy it: The "physical manifestation" (their words) of Radiohead's In Rainbows sold 122,000 copies in its first week of release, giving it the #1 Billboard slot. (Their U.S. label also claims 10,000 copies sold pre-street date!)
In even more exciting news, the band just announced a list of cities for a 2008 U.S. tour — no dates are set yet, but it'll take place in two segments, one before the band's European summer tour and one after. Here are the cities, followed by a YouTube video of "Scotch Mist," which is the band playing all of In Rainbows live in the studio.
