Netflix puts Ransom Canyon out to pasture

Ransom Canyon, April Blair’s romantic, Texas-set western about the will-they-won’t-they between sad rancher Staten Kirkland (Josh Duhamel) and go-gettin’ concert pianist and dance hall proprietor Quinn O’Grady (Minka Kelly), has been canceled, per The Hollywood Reporter. The Netflix series’ second and final season dropped in its entirety on July 23, leaving dangling story threads even as it gave its two leads a chance to roam the land like two happy, star-crossed denim enthusiasts.
